Establishing and Reviewing EHS Legal Register
Course Objectives
Organisations need to establish and maintain EHS Legal Register for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and EHS compliance purposes. The EHS Acts and subsidiary legislation are available in the Singapore Statutes Online, but organisations will still need to review the legislation and determine the applicable EHS Acts and subsidiary legislation to compile the applicable EHS legislation.
This intensive one day course outlines the process of identifying the regulated areas of the EHS legislation and determining the applicability of the provisions based on the context of the organisation. Learners may use the EHS Laws Compilation Template to document the applicability of the EHS Act and subsidiary legislation. Instead of imparting the knowledge of the legislative provisions, the course focuses on the process of accessing the legislation, interpreting the intents and scope of the regulated areas and evaluating the context of organisation. The class may discuss specific legal provisions of concern.
The course aims to equip participants with a knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework and skills to establish EHS legal register.

Training Methodology
